Marianist Family Encounter for the Marianist World Day of Prayer
October 10, 2020
This event was originally supposed to be an in-person gathering of the local Marianist Family with members of the General Administrations of the Society of Mary and Daughters of Mary Immaculate. Due to COVID travel restrictions, members of hte General Administrations will not be able to come to the United States, and the local Marianist Family will be unable to gather in person.
However, we will be having a virtual gathering via Zoom on the afternoon of October 10 which will feature leaders of the three branches of the Marianist Family responding to the question of how Marianists practice social justice can be a model for our Church. The three Marianist Family leaders offering these reflections are Father Pablo Rambaud, the Director of Religious Life for the Society of Mary; Sister Clotilde Fernandez del Pozo, the Director of Education for the Marianist Sisters; and LeeAnn Meyer, the Head of Spirituality for the Marianist Lay Community of North America.
We will then have a short prayer service for the Marianist World Day of Prayer. Our time will end at 3:30 with an optional Zoom social--bring your own cookies or other snack and stay on Zoom to chat with others in the Marianist Family!
